Just Dance



Have you ever watched a Ballet performance , Balinese dance, or even Ballroom dancing on TV and unconciously, your body starts to tingle and you feel like you wanted to join them and "fly" in the movements ?

I have a friend who's always loved Ballroom dancing, be it cha cha or waltz, & finally she's convinced me to take up a private Ballroom dancing course. (I'm more of a ballet & traditional dancing person).

So we went there & I could tell that she truly enjoyed it. Me on the other hand, decided that Ballroom dancing is not really for me, I kept on forgetting the steps hohoho.

So.... when I decided not to continue the class, she didn't continue either , saying it's not fun doing it alone.
But on our social occassions, she still practices the steps from what she remembered, while I've forgotten most of the cha cha steps, you could see that her face lights up while doing it. Still she talks about wanting to take another lesson, but is still looking for a friend to go there with. Months passed and still she hasn't found anyone.

So, I searched for a dance class for her, dragged her there, and enrolled her for a cha cha group lesson.
and the rest is history :), she found lots of new friends there, with the same interest I might add. She goes there twice a week and when I see her, she's happier and she looks much fitter. and I'm happy for her. :)

The thing with wanting to do something you love is it's sometimes held back because of unecessary reasons.
When you know you want to do something and it's come up over and over again, you should just go ahead and do it, and you'll see that your life will be so much better.
